Condition of Hair: about 2 weeks post, immediately down from a bun, no pre-poo

When washing with Redken All Soft Shampoo, the formula immediately feels like silk and you can massage your scalp with these smoothness a while before it starts to feel like ‘typical’ shampoo; evidently it was Redken’s intent to give the formula slip and your hair smoothness with  headliners dimethicone and cetearyl alcohol. Upon rinsing all the magic is gone and the hair immediately feels clarified; it is harsher than an average un-re-purchasable shampoo.

Best Used For Recommendation:

Tresses that need a good clarifying wash without becoming tangled in the process.

  1. HI, just want to know the ingredient list you mentioned, is it from the redken with IPN, cos the one i have with IPN has a different formula, please let me know…

    • IPN is most likely the company’s alluring (/marketable) way of lableing a group of ingredients to help sell the product. For example, if I sell World Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies, I might call my choice of chocolate used to make my homemade chocolate chips my “Intense Chocolate Blend” to help describe what I feel I have acheived, it’s not really an ‘invention’, just a way to grab potention customer’s attention while also delivering my objective.

You would have to contact the company to determine if the “IPN”/ IPN ingredient group exist in both the Old and “New and Improved Formula”, or for an ingredient list of both the Old and “New and Improved Formula” to determine the differences for yourself.
